Carpentry Foreman
The successful candidate is the direct contact between the Project manager, crafts persons and the Customer. The job is to implement plans, budget, schedule and monitor the progress on a daily basis assisting with updates on schedules and deliveries. The Foreman and Project Manager work together as a team to ensure that each project is delivered on time and within budget.

 

To do what it takes to run a project, the Foreman will champion the following:

 

    1.  Project Execution

    2.  Site Safety and Weekly Safety Meetings

    3.  Permitting

    4.  Staffing, Supervision and Development of Carpenters and Laborers

    5.  Coordination of Material Procurement and Deliveries

    6.  Find methods to increase productions, quality, and improve safety

    7.  Review and process field changes and extra job work orders

     

Prerequisites for this position include: Supervisory experience, minimum of 5 years in construction services, strong communication and leadership skills with good planning and organization skills. An associate degree in construction management or a related field is a plus. General construction background, excellent analytical skills and a strong mechanical aptitude are required. Earned certifications and documented personal performances are highly regarded.
