The successful candidate will report
directly to the Pre-Construction Manager and will be a highly motivated, detail
oriented individual to champion the following: 2. Participation
in Bid selection.
3. Ascertain
detailed project requirements from clients.
4. Pre-Bid
Walk-Thru's.
5. Complete
review of all project documents.
6. Execute Take-Offs. 7.
8. Follow
up on all bids & negotiate contracts as required.
9. Assist
Project Manager with Pre-Job Package.
10. Support all associated internal tracking systems.
Prerequisites for this position include a Bachelors degree, 1-3 years estimating experience and strong computer skills. Experience with The Edge, Quick Bid, or other drywall computer estimating software is essential. Advanced estimating experience is desired, but not required. Project Management experience, large project exposure and/or some field experience is preferred. Reasonable commute to the office (e.g. 45 minutes – one hour).
