![]() This time sensitive project began at the end of the 2005 season with the renovation of the 406 club. The beginning stages required the removal of the large glass windows, bringing the club closer to the ball park’s historic atmosphere. The area was split into two floors. The lower one became the newly renovated 406 club, now known as the EMC Club, and the upper floor was to become the Home Plate Pavilion Club. The open-air EMC Club, on the suite level, has all new high end amenities, including wider, heated seats, waiter and waitress service, private dining rooms, a business conference center and a dedicated concierge. Central’s part in the renovation of the 406 club consisted of the installation of Wood Ceilings, Acoustical Ceilings, Drywall, Soffits and Taping with our usual high quality expertise. Another large part of the renovation was the remodeling of the suites along the right and left field areas. Due to the structural steel insulation that supported the roof seats, the suites were demolished and then restructured. Central played a key part in the renovation of the suites with the installation of Gypsum Wall Board and Acoustical Ceilings. Along with the common suites, the Owners Booth, the VIP Booth and John Henry’s Suites were all built. Central performed complex soffit work and installed Arboreal Wood Ceilings and Gypsum Wall Board to provide a professional touch to the new additions. Central also performed key renovation work to the General Manager’s Booth, and the NESN Booth. The work consisted of Acoustical Ceilings, Gypsum Wall Board, and Raised Computer Floors. At the roof top levels, Central constructed the bathrooms, concession stands and performed renovations to the Aramak Chef’s Offices. Central not only performed the Gypsum Wall Board and Acoustical Ceilings work throughout the job, but also completed the Direct Applied Finish Systems on the exterior soffits and walls. We also performed all the rough carpentry, framing and blocking. All-in-all it was a very demanding and diverse construction project.
