The successful candidate will report directly to a Senior Project Manager and provide overall management direction for one large project or multiple projects. This highly motivated, detail oriented individual will champion the following:
2. Focuses
on work acquisitions and supports estimating/bidding activities as required.
3. Plans,
organizes and staffs key field positions.
4. Establishes
project objectives, policies and procedures as well as performance standards.
5. Controls
and monitors construction to meet our specific goals.
6. Manages
the financial aspects of the contract in order to protect the company’s interests and maintain customer satisfaction.
7. Attends project meetings with customers and subcontractors as required. 8. Assumes
additional responsibilities, based upon business needs, as directed.
Prerequisites for this position include a four year college degree. (Construction Management major is preferred) Six plus years of Drywall Project Management/Estimating experience. Strong computer skills. Experience with the EDGE, Quick Bid or other drywall computer estimating software is essential. Advanced estimating experience is desired, but not required. Reasonable commute to the office (e.g. 45 minutes – one hour).
