Description: Completed in 2019, the 145 Broadway - Akamai project was a 19 Story 450,000 sqft office tower home to 2,000 employees. Central's Scope included the core and shell metal framing and drywall, portions of exterior metal framing, as well as the interior tenant fit out package for the project. The project featured 19 unique floor plates connected together by the "Aka-mile". A mile long path weaved its way through the building connected by unique angled staircases and feature walls containing over 300 unique drywall intersections. Central's pre-planning expertise helped organize a job that boasts a lot of distinct details and features.
